About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager Solutions Architect to join our team in Germany. As a key member of our regional leadership team, you will be responsible for building and migrating applications, software, and services on the AWS platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Formulate and execute a customer-focused strategy to drive adoption of AWS.
  • Educate customers of all sizes on the value proposition of AWS and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
  • Hire, onboard, train, and develop a strong team of Solutions Architects.
  • Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community.
  • Guide and motivate the development of whitepapers, data sheets, and other high-value customer-facing guidance and best practices.
  • Act as a conduit and liaison between customers, service engineering teams, and support.
About the Team

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest-growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers, including public sector.

Requirements
  • Significant experience in leading and growing teams of senior technology professionals.
  • Strong software/technology customer-facing experience.
  • High level of comfort communicating effectively across internal and external organizations, with both technical and non-technical audiences at C-level.
  • Technical degree.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
  • Working knowledge of software development life cycle, tools, and methodologies.
