About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Working Student to join our Central Engineering Process Operations Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial forecasting process and process operations for our Converged Cloud platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the collection of input from Converged Cloud experts to the Controlling team for regular financial forecasting.
  • Work closely with experts to understand the underlying cloud infrastructure and review financial figures.
  • Review invoices and compare actuals with forecasted numbers, making suggestions for forecast improvement.
  • Help shape the Process Operations Team with required workflows, communication streams, and reporting to bridge different engineering teams.
  • Analyze and develop support-related and central processes for potential efficiency gains, defining and implementing measures.
  • Support general team coordination tasks in a multinational team of over 100 members.

Requirements

  • Good understanding of controlling and experience in providing financial forecasts.
  • Student (f/m/d) at a university or university of applied sciences.
  • Preferred fields of study: Business Administration, Business Informatics, Economics, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Strong skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint, with experience in SAP ISP a plus.
  • Fluent in English, with German a plus.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a thorough way of working, taking proactive initiatives, and being self-dependent and structured.

About the Team

The Central Engineering Process Operations Team is the heart of SAP Converged Cloud, the unified global Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) platform for SAP products based on Kubernetes and OpenStack.

We are the 'control centre' for all development and operations teams contributing to SAP Converged Cloud, connecting all teams and helping with processes, products, tools, communication, and central functions to smooth collaboration and enable end-to-end ownership for our platform.

This includes the coordination and tracking of our infrastructure build-up processes in SAP data centers.
