Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our Solar Construction and Project Management Department. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our development colleagues, managing the interface between engineering, procurement, and construction, and ensuring the highest quality and safety standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the single point of contact within the Solar division, interfacing with other departments, including finance, project development, grid connection, and operation & maintenance.
- Responsibility for budgetary and detailed project cost calculations and timely execution of projects.
- Support in defining specifications of electrical components, such as transformer stations and central inverters.
- Drafting scope of work, auditing, and appointing subcontractors.
- Providing support and guidance to Site Managers.
- Performing site visits to ensure contractual compliance and best quality of works.
- Commenting on project design, providing valuable feedback on actual conditions in construction sites, and lessons learned.
Requirements
- Degree in engineering or similar educational background mandatory.
- 5+ years of experience in the solar sector, preferably in utility-scale, free-field plants.
- Familiarity with EPC, solar PV performance, and construction optimization.
- Business fluent in English and Spanish; additional languages considered an asset.
- Flexible attitude with the ability to travel to various site locations worldwide.
- Leadership experience, negotiation skills, and confident demeanor in an international context.
- Team player with self-dependent work capabilities.
- Familiarity with MS Office applications.
