About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team at SAP Sovereign Cloud. As a key member of our Product Enablement team, you will play a vital role in automating, scaling, and maintaining our cloud operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in building out and managing deployment environments for net-new SAP products in the SAP Sovereign Cloud portfolio.
  • Implement infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
  • Develop and maintain automated deployment scripts and pipelines using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
  • Support the automation of build, test, and deployment processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
  • Ensure consistency and version control of configuration files and deployment scripts.
  • Implement tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk for monitoring and logging.
  • Support performance tuning and optimization efforts for SAP products.
  • Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to support the integration and deployment of SAP products.
  • Create and maintain documentation for deployment processes, configurations, and infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or other relevant fields.
  • 3+ years of related professional experience in software development, including 2+ years with DevOps.
  • Strong expertise in DevOps.
  • Experience with Python, Go, and/or Bash.
  • Experience in setting up, managing, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
