Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Application Engineer to join our team at Samsung Semiconductor Europe. As a key member of our sales and marketing team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers in the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct technical meetings with customers to promote new products and address technical issues
  • Deliver product roadmaps, features, and value propositions to customers
  • Track projects and anticipate customer requests
  • Identify and communicate current and future customer needs and technical requirements
  • Drive development and quality teams to fulfill customer requirements
  • Provide technical support throughout the product lifecycle
  • Responsible for testing, debugging, delivering, guiding, and documenting software deliverables

Requirements

  • Master of Science degree or equivalent in electronics, physics, or related areas
  • 5 to 10 years of technical experience in semiconductor, ideally in SoC SW development or SoC customer support
  • Experience in embedded systems, C language, device drivers, or middleware in Linux/Android
  • Experience with automotive hardware and board bring-up activities
  • Experience in bootloader, QNX, Yocto, C++, Python, and Java is a strong plus
  • Experience in Agile process, DevOps, CI/CD is a strong plus
