We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Field Applications Engineer to join our team at Alpha and Omega Semiconductor. As a key member of our sales and technical support team, you will be responsible for providing technical field support to our customers in the EMEA region.
Main Responsibilities:- Build strong relationships with customers' engineering community to define and nurture design opportunities.
- Work closely with AOS Sales and Product Line teams to promote new products and AOS system solutions to secure design wins.
- Act as customer-facing component and system level expert in power electronics, primarily in Motor Control and BMS area.
- Provide design-in technical support to defined customers and distributors.
- Travel to customer sites for promotion, technical support, and discussion.
- BS/MS Electrical Engineering.
- 5+ years' experience in analog hardware design for motor control and power supply applications.
- Enhanced knowledge of MOSFET, IGBTs, Driver ICs & DC/DC IC controllers.
- Experience with technical customer support in field preferred in power semiconductor industry.
- Intercultural competence.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. German skills preferred.
- Readiness to travel EMEA wide and sporadically to USA and Asia.
