The Role: Java Developer - AWS & Microservices
We are seeking a talented and passionate Java Developer to join our growing team in Hamburg. In this role, you will play a key part in scaling our market platform to support business growth and expanding our product portfolio with cutting-edge financing solutions.
You will collaborate closely with a Product Owner and an agile cross-functional team dedicated to innovation and exploring new approaches to software development. Your Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain high-quality Java applications using best practices and design principles.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of microservices architectures within an AWS environment.
- Collaborate with the team on implementing robust testing strategies and ensuring code quality.
- Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Java Developer.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns (MVC, Dependency Injection).
- Proficiency in Java frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate.
- Experience designing relational databases and working with MySQL/PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with testing methodologies and tools (JUnit, Mockito, Jest).
