We are a leading provider of solutions and services for the paper industry, and we are looking for a dedicated student to support us in the structural design and layout of the steel structure of our paper machine hood.
Job Overview
- Support the design and layout of the steel structure of our paper machine hood.
- Be responsible for analyzing and applying relevant industry standards and guidelines for design and dimensioning.
- Create space models and technical drawings, as well as documentation.
- Carry out calculations and simulations based on load on the hood.
- Apply theoretical knowledge from studies in practice.
- Participate in project meetings and collaborate with various departments.
Requirements
- Enrolled student in engineering, mechanical engineering, design engineering, or similar field.
- Good knowledge of design, steel construction, or technical mechanics and materials engineering, as well as basic knowledge of relevant standards and guidelines.
- Experience with CAD software and technical drawing; knowledge of FEM analyses is an advantage.
- Very good knowledge of German or English, both written and spoken.
- Independent and structured work style, high willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in a team, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel occasionally.
