Senior Validation Expert

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Validation Expert to join our team at DZ BANK AG. As a key member of our validation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our liquid assets risk models.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct annual and initial independent validations of our liquid assets risk models.
- Coordinate the group-wide validation process and review the results from the control units.
- Compile and summarize your findings, discuss them with the control units and relevant departments, and create decision-making documents for AG and group-level committees.
- Collaborate with internal audit and supervisory bodies, and participate in projects to round out your responsibilities.
Requirements
- Successful completion of a degree in Mathematics, Economic Mathematics, Physics, or Economics with a quantitative focus.
- Professional experience in model development, preferably in liquidity risk and/or market price risk.
- Excellent knowledge of classical banking and trading products, as well as their valuation and risk measurement.
- Familiarity with statistical models (time series models, regression models, economic models).
- Proficiency in R, Python, and SQL.
