About the Role

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled Site Process Engineer to join the EU Process Engineering (EU PE) team. As a key member of this team, you will play a critical role in driving process stabilization, standardization, and continuous improvement for the EU Customer Fulfilment Network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work on Back to Basics (B2B) initiatives to identify top opportunities in the FC and implement improvement action plans in close collaboration with the local Operations Management team.
  • Oversee the FC improvement program and set focus on most important areas, based on alignment with the FC Senior Leadership team.
  • Drive network best practice implementation, leveraging local initiative-led with local Ops and share them to EU PE for review.
  • Own the deployment of all EU network initiatives assigned to the FC, ensuring they are executed with the right timeline and reaching compliance.
Requirements
  • Degree from an accredited institution
  • English and German, Common European Framework of Reference C1
  • Experience in Operations as Area Manager or comparable experience
  • High proficiency of technical knowledge of at least one Fulfillment process path (Quriosity silver/gold certification)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong professional experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies
  • Relevant knowledge of change management and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Excellent communication skills and detail orientation
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to motivate a team
