Role Overview

Are you eager to lead advancements in cloud database technology? Do you wish to enhance your expertise with state-of-the-art tools in generative AI, cloud computing, big data, SAP HANA, and application development? If you thrive in a collaborative setting alongside skilled engineers, where every individual, including management, contributes technically, this opportunity is for you.

As a working student (f/m/d) in our team, you will collaborate with a group of exceptionally talented and driven colleagues. Your focus will be on enhancing the Development Experience of HANA, particularly the user-facing frontend tools of the HANA database. You will introduce new functionalities and integrate GenAI into the tools to unlock new use cases and elevate developer productivity.

On a typical day, you will...

  • enhance and refine HANA development tools utilizing TypeScript and React
  • collaborate closely with team members to define and develop new features
  • partner with designers to deliver fresh, user-friendly, and elegantly simple experiences for our customers
  • engage in prototyping HANA tools using the latest technologies for platform and application development
  • creatively apply GenAI to drive new innovations, eliminate barriers, and enhance productivity

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled student (f/m/d) at a university or university of applied sciences
  • Preferred fields of study: computer science or a related technical discipline
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken; German is a plus
  • Strong programming skills in TypeScript, JavaScript, and SQL
  • Experience in designing web-based user interfaces using React, SAP UI5, and HTML Web Components
  • Familiarity with developing cloud-native applications leveraging GenAI (fine-tuning, prompting, etc.)
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple development teams across various locations
