IT Infrastructure Project Leader

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated professional to oversee our IT infrastructure projects, ensuring that our technological framework remains cutting-edge and efficient.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Oversight: Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of IT infrastructure initiatives, collaborating with various teams to meet deadlines and budgetary constraints while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Resource Coordination: Manage project resources, including team members, equipment, and external vendors; serve as the primary liaison for internal departments and collaborate with global IT teams.
  • Progress Monitoring: Track project milestones, identify risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them; communicate project status and updates effectively to all stakeholders.
  • Technical Management: Understand technical requirements and manage vendor relationships; provide support for troubleshooting and integration challenges.
  • Change Management: Implement and oversee project change control processes, fostering a collaborative project environment and aligning with Leadec's strategic governance.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Degree in computer science, business informatics, or a related field; professional certifications such as PRINCE2 or PMP are advantageous.
  • Experience: Minimum of three years in a professional setting within an enterprise-level organization or IT consultancy.
  • Skills: Strong project management and organizational abilities; adept at problem analysis and solution development.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with IT topics including security, hardware, software, and networking; comprehensive understanding of project management frameworks and risk management.
  • Personal Attributes: Excellent communication skills, assertiveness, and a systematic approach to teamwork; a commitment to staying updated with emerging technologies.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
  • Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel occasionally for project needs.
