Overview:
We are seeking a skilled professional to oversee our IT infrastructure projects, ensuring seamless integration and functionality across our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership:
    Take charge of the planning, execution, and successful completion of IT infrastructure initiatives. Collaborate with various teams to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and meet quality expectations.
  • Resource Coordination:
    Manage project resources effectively, including team members, equipment, and external vendors. Serve as the primary contact for internal departments and work closely with global IT teams and partners.
  • Progress Monitoring:
    Track the status of projects, identify potential risks, and devise mitigation strategies. Communicate updates and project statuses to stakeholders regularly.
  • Technical Expertise:
    Understand the technical requirements of projects and manage vendor relationships. Provide support for troubleshooting and resolving integration challenges.
  • Change Management:
    Implement project change control processes and foster a collaborative project environment. Ensure adherence to the strategic governance of our IT operations.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    A degree in computer science, business informatics, or a related field is required. Professional certifications such as PRINCE2 or PMP are advantageous.
  • Experience:
    A minimum of three years of experience in a large enterprise or IT consulting environment.
  • Skills:
    Strong project management and organizational abilities, with a knack for problem analysis and solution development.
  • Knowledge:
    Familiarity with general IT topics, including security, hardware, software, and networking. In-depth understanding of project management frameworks and risk management practices.
  • Personal Attributes:
    Excellent communication skills, assertiveness, and a systematic approach to teamwork. A willingness to engage with new technologies is essential.
  • Language Proficiency:
    Fluency in English is required; proficiency in German is a plus.
  • Travel Requirements:
    Willingness to travel occasionally for project needs.
