Role Overview

As the Vice President of Business Development (f/m/d), you will play a crucial role in establishing and nurturing a new sales and development team dedicated to our franchise system. This team will be instrumental in identifying, onboarding, and managing strategic partnerships while exploring new avenues for business growth on a global scale. You will collaborate closely with our Executive team to formulate strategies, streamline processes, and drive revenue expansion in this dynamic sector. This position reports directly to our Co-Founder & CCO.

Your Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and oversee a high-performing sales team dedicated to sourcing and managing strategic franchise partnerships.
  • Partnership Development: Identify and engage potential franchisees, guiding them through a seamless onboarding experience.
  • Sales Channel Innovation: Investigate and establish new sales channels to broaden our market reach and enhance global penetration.
  • Market Development: Continuously analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to uncover new business opportunities and revenue streams.
  • Revenue Strategy: Design and implement effective sales strategies aimed at achieving or surpassing revenue objectives through strategic partnerships and innovative sales channels.
  • Sales Materials Creation: Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to produce engaging sales presentations and materials tailored to diverse partnership opportunities.
  • Market Research: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify potential franchise markets and emerging trends that inform sales strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work in tandem with product development, operations, and marketing teams to ensure alignment between sales initiatives and product offerings.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 8 years of progressive sales experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity, preferably within the franchise or food service sectors.
  • Proven track record in building and scaling sales teams, meeting revenue targets, and forming strategic partnerships.
  • Expertise in developing and executing sales strategies, with a strong grasp of market dynamics and customer requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to cultivate relationships with diverse stakeholders and potential franchise partners.
  • Proficient in data analysis, utilizing insights to inform decision-making and enhance sales performance.
  • Adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced environment, capable of pivoting strategies based on market feedback.
