Software Developer Position

With a global workforce of approximately 4,500 professionals across various locations, Evident is committed to the development, production, and distribution of high-quality microscopy systems catering to clinical diagnostics, bioscientific research, and industrial applications. The company also specializes in videoscopes, non-destructive material testing products, and X-ray fluorescence analysis devices.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate within a skilled development team focusing on components related to camera and motorized microscope control.
- Engage in tasks such as device management, image processing, recording process programming, and user interface design.
- Work alongside Requirements Engineers to establish precise software requirements.
- Contribute to the conceptualization, time estimation, design, implementation, testing, debugging, maintenance, and documentation of software components.
- Offer expertise to the Software Test Center to ensure effective testing of newly developed software components.
- A degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
- Extensive experience in professional software development.
- Strong proficiency in C++ and foundational knowledge of C#.
- Hands-on experience in crafting professional Windows user interfaces utilizing WPF and MFC; familiarity with STL and the Boost C++ Library is a plus.
- Ideally acquainted with standard software development methodologies and their application.
- Fluency in both German and English.
- A keen interest in mechanical, optical, and electrical systems.
- A proactive and communicative team player passionate about developing practical solutions.
