As part of a dynamic team, you will engage in the development of sophisticated components for camera and motorized microscope control. Your role will encompass a variety of tasks, including device management, image processing, programming recording workflows, and designing user interfaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate within a skilled development team focusing on camera and microscope control systems.
  • Engage in device control, image processing, and the programming of recording processes.
  • Work closely with Requirements Engineers to articulate software specifications.
  • Conceive software concepts, provide accurate time estimates, and participate in the design, implementation, testing, debugging, maintenance, and documentation of software components.
  • Advise the Software Test Center on effective methodologies for testing new software components.
Required Qualifications
  • A degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
  • Several years of pertinent experience in professional software development.
  • Expertise in C++ and foundational knowledge of C#.
  • Hands-on experience in developing professional Windows user interfaces utilizing WPF and MFC; familiarity with STL and the Boost C++ Library is advantageous.
  • Ideally, a solid understanding of standard software development processes and their consistent application.
  • Proficiency in both German and English.
  • A keen interest in mechanical, optical, and electrical systems.
  • A proactive and communicative team player with a passion for developing practical solutions.
