Decarbonization and Sustainability Expert

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Decarbonization and Sustainability Manager. As a key member of our sustainability team, you will play a critical role in driving our company's commitment to carbon neutrality by 2040.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive decarbonization strategy for our automotive division, aligned with corporate and divisional goals.
  • Monitor and analyze global legislation, industry trends, and customer requirements related to decarbonization and emissions reduction.
  • Establish and maintain carbon calculation methods and monitor carbon footprint metrics.
  • Collaborate with product development and operations teams to implement, measure, track, and reduce CO2 emissions.
  • Support customer teams in ensuring that products meet sustainability and carbon footprint guidelines.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to business unit and functional leaders on decarbonization and carbon footprint initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a large, multinational company in the automotive or electrical manufacturing sector, driving emissions metrics and decarbonization programs.
  • Strong data analysis skills, including understanding of GHG metrics and SBTi methodology.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
