Student Assistant in International Finance and Controlling

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated student to support our Investment Control & Finance team at our headquarters. This position offers a blend of on-site and remote work, providing a flexible environment to enhance your professional skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the monthly reporting and planning activities within Investment Control.
  • Support the development and analysis of query templates and tasks during the monthly closing process using SAP BPC.
  • Engage with national and international teams to address challenges faced by our subsidiaries.
  • Contribute to the financial reporting for Zeppelin Rental in accordance with IFRS standards, collaborating closely with the Accounting and Controlling teams.
  • Help prepare management presentations and templates for decision-making.
  • Participate in special projects and take ownership of smaller initiatives that may extend beyond the Investment Control scope.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in Economics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience through academic projects, internships, or part-time roles is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently and responsibly.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a readiness to collaborate with stakeholders in various settings.
  • Proficient in working with numbers and projects, with excellent skills in Microsoft 365.
  • Fluent in both German and English, with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
