Controlling Specialist for Commercial Area

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Controlling Specialist to join our commercial area team at Mercedes-Benz. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for financial planning, analysis, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational planning: Prepare planning documents, coordinate with specialist departments, and analyze submitted planning documents.
  • Reporting: Prepare and distribute weekly, monthly, or quarterly reports, and provide advice and coordination in the analysis of deviations.
  • Further development of controlling tools: Adapt controlling tools to changing processes, support and develop BI tools used in the GTC.
  • Calculations and profitability analyses: Prepare ad-hoc analyses, coordinate with management and specialist departments, and ensure cost-effectiveness of products and services.
  • Project controlling: Support individual projects and sub-projects through controlling support.
Requirements:
  • Successfully completed studies in business administration or similar.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in controlling, ideally in the automotive/after-sales industry.
  • Very good ERP knowledge, MS DFO desirable.
  • Very good IT skills (MS Office).
  • Very good experience in dealing with reporting/controling tools, in particular the use of BI tools (PowerBI or similar).
  • Very good analytical skills and high affinity for numbers.
  • Diligence, ability to work in a team, sense of responsibility, communication skills, and flexibility.
  • High level of commitment, enthusiasm, and resilience.
  • Independent, structured, and solution- and result-oriented way of working.
