We are seeking a dedicated professional to take on the role of Senior Data Governance Manager - Material Master within our Data Management division. This position is pivotal in steering our data governance initiatives and ensuring the integrity of our Material Master data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee the strategy and objectives for the Material Master data cluster.
  • Lead and mentor Data Owners and Sub-Owners within your cluster.
  • Ensure the accurate definition of data objects within the Material Master cluster, adhering to organizational standards and policies.
  • Provide expert guidance in defining data models, governance frameworks, processes, harmonization efforts, and data quality standards.
  • Manage Data Quality initiatives for all data objects in your cluster, offering direction on prioritization and performance metrics.
  • Review data migration documentation with Data Owners and recommend necessary corrective actions.

Candidate Profile:

  • A degree in business administration, business informatics, engineering, or a related field, complemented by extensive professional experience in a leadership capacity.
  • Proven experience in a Master Data Management role within both technical and commercial environments, with a strong motivation to lead the Material Master Data Cluster.
  • In-depth understanding of (SAP) data models and industry-leading practices in Data Quality and Management, particularly concerning Material Master data.
  • Expertise in change management strategies, including effective communication, cultural transformation, and performance measurement system design.
  • Strong analytical abilities with a keen attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in communicating and facilitating discussions in English with senior management across technology and business sectors in a diverse, international context.
