Position: IT Security Specialist / IT Sicherheitsbeauftragter (m/w/d)

ELA Container, a leader in mobile room solutions, is seeking an IT Security Specialist to enhance our IT department in Haren (Ems). This role offers a variety of engaging responsibilities, career advancement opportunities, and a relaxed work environment.

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Computer Science or IT Security, along with substantial experience in Information Security and Risk Management. Your primary responsibilities will include serving as the key contact for all information security-related issues within the organization, developing an Information Security Management System (ISMS) that aligns with international standards, conducting thorough risk assessments, and implementing security protocols to mitigate potential risks.

Additionally, you will be tasked with the creation and maintenance of security documentation, educating employees on information security practices, and continuously enhancing the ISMS.

Qualifications:
  • Degree in Computer Science, IT Security, or a related field
  • In-depth knowledge of IT Security and Risk Management
  • Experience in establishing and managing an ISMS, preferably with ISO/IEC 27001 certification
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer are advantageous
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to articulate complex issues effectively
  • Self-motivated, responsible, and capable of working independently
  • Fluency in both German and English
