Your area of work:

The Group Security department plays a vital role in implementing the information security strategy of Deutsche Börse Group. As a central service provider, Group Security is tasked with safeguarding information assets, including those of suppliers, ensuring their safety, integrity, confidentiality, authenticity, and availability by enforcing security controls in accordance with regulatory requirements and adhering to the ISO/IEC 27000-series standards for Information Security Management Systems.

Your responsibilities:

In this role, you will leverage your IT security expertise to support the business, focusing on the following key responsibilities:

  • Assist in DBG System Security initiatives, including vulnerability and compliance checks for system hardening, vulnerability notifications, source code scanning, penetration test management, quality checks of reported results, tracking and monitoring remediation of open findings in IT, and regular reporting.
  • Provide advice and support to IT Support Groups to enhance their understanding of vulnerabilities, acting as an expert in the field.
  • Guide IT in reengineering processes and procedures necessary for remediation, recommending and tracking corresponding actions, and collaborating on the resolution of critical audit findings.
  • Ensure daily operational duties related to security management are performed in compliance with relevant policies and industry best practices.
  • Develop Information Security Guidelines, Processes, Procedures, and Baselines in alignment with DBG Policies and Standards as well as international quality management standards.
  • Maintain awareness of cloud principles and the associated risks of public and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Conduct risk assessments of security tools and implement mitigation strategies for identified risks.
  • Manage vulnerabilities in cloud environments using recognized CNAPP solutions.

Your profile:

  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in IT Security, IT Risk, and Compliance Management, with at least 2 years in a multi-cloud environment.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure, platform, and application security concepts and threats, including network infrastructure, operating systems, databases, middleware, and web application hardening measures.
  • Experience with CNAPP solutions from various vendors, with knowledge of CNAPP capabilities (CIEM, Code Security, Workload Protection) and their integration into the enterprise landscape (asset inventory, ticketing tools, DevSecOps).
  • Fundamental knowledge of GCP, Azure, or AWS (e.g., VM, Containers GKE, and AKS).
  • Ability to recommend appropriate controls to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems/services while meeting regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English (German/Czech is a plus).

Highly desirable:

  • Security-related certifications (CCSP, CISSP, CISM) or a commitment to obtain a major certification within one or two years.
  • Good knowledge of ITIL (ITIL certification).
  • Experience with system security tools/solutions (CNAPP, Aquasec, Rapid7, etc.).
  • Strong organizational skills to maintain high operational standards in a business-critical financial environment.
