As a Senior Process Improvement Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to enhance organizational workflows. You will collaborate with and mentor fellow specialists to continuously refine both existing and forthcoming processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting comprehensive process improvement initiatives and securing approval from relevant stakeholders;
  • Establishing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of process enhancement capabilities;
  • Collaborating closely with process owners to perform maturity and adoption evaluations according to established frameworks to identify current process gaps;
  • Gathering change requests regarding process design from department leaders and implementing those changes in conjunction with the process design team;
  • Finalizing project documentation and reports;
  • Facilitating process improvement workshops with stakeholders, sharing insights derived from the analysis of existing workflows;
  • Overseeing process documentation and supporting the development and maintenance of logs for process modifications;
  • Advocating for process adoption initiatives while monitoring key KPIs to track progress;
  • Ensuring processes are optimized, effective, and aligned with customer requirements while fostering organizational growth and development;
  • Encouraging a culture of continuous process enhancement and imparting these values to junior associates through mentorship;
  • Serving as a liaison for escalations between internal and external partners.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in Business Administration, Operations, or Management, preferably within a telecommunications operator or an ICT/Product organization;
  • 6+ years of experience in continuous process improvement and implementation, utilizing Six Sigma methodologies within a telecommunications operator or an ICT/Product organization;
  • Familiarity with various domains within a telecommunications operator (procurement, finance, product management, service desk, engineering, etc.) and an understanding of their interconnections is highly preferred;
  • Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification or equivalent training;
  • Demonstrated experience in operations management concerning process design, development, and auditing (including maturity assessments, adoption evaluations, gap identification, etc.);
  • Self-driven, detail-oriented, and dedicated to quality;
  • Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple, often conflicting priorities to successful completion;
  • Consistently operates with the highest levels of integrity and fidelity, acting in the best interest of the organization;
  • Strong capability for up-skilling and re-skilling, with a curious mindset and a desire for continuous learning and growth;
  • Proven leadership abilities, with experience guiding team members to achieve objectives;
  • Technical writing proficiency;
  • Experience with tools such as Excel and Visio for producing workflows;
  • Ability to function as a team player, with a flexible and positive demeanor;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to thrive under pressure;
  • A self-starter who can work independently yet is comfortable and effective in a team setting.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (minimum 4 years) in Business Administration, Operations, Management, or a related field;
  • Any certification or diploma in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) will be an added advantage;
  • Six Sigma Green/Yellow Belt certification or equivalent training;
  • Certification in TM Forum Business Process Frameworx (eTOM) would be an additional advantage;
  • Proficiency in written and verbal communication in English and German.
