Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented individual to become a part of our "IT Applications Sales Support" division. This position entails the strategic alignment, development, and management of all web-based applications and services that support our sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities in Application Management:

  • Oversee the maintenance, support, product management, and enhancement of both existing and new technologies, interfaces, and web applications utilizing the JavaEE technology stack.
  • Provide implementation, administration, and second-level support in intricate application environments, including customer portals and external SaaS solutions.
  • Actively contribute to digitization initiatives within the insurance and brokerage sectors.
  • Collaborate with external implementation partners to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities in Project Management:

  • Plan, manage, and execute implementation projects effectively.
  • Lead projects or subprojects to successful completion.
  • Develop comprehensive concepts, performance specifications, and documentation.
  • Execute system integration services to enhance operational efficiency.

  • A minimum of several years of experience in software development (Full-Stack), project management, requirements management, and ideally in overseeing external suppliers.
  • Strong expertise (at least 5 years) in the JavaEE8 framework and technologies such as JSF (primefaces), JPA, Maven, REST, OpenAPI, SQL (Oracle), and application servers (Tomcat & Oracle Weblogic Server).
  • Familiarity with cloud and serverless computing, CI/CD (Jenkins), unit testing, and app development (PWA) is advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including effective collaboration with third parties.
  • A team-oriented mindset, project management capabilities, and a high degree of innovation and initiative.
  • Proficient German language skills are essential.
