Electrode Processing Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrode Processing Specialist to join our team at Skeleton Technologies. As a key member of our R&D team, you will be responsible for performing lab-scale R&D activities related to electrodes processing and lab-scale cells electrical tests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execution of lab-scale R&D experiments according to development project plans, from material preparation to electrochemical cells testing.
  • Characterization and electrode preparation for electrochemical cells testing.
  • Supporting R&D prototype-scale activities by pilot electrode density analysis, industrial cells filling, and materials preparation for pilot coatings.
  • Updating respective project's pages/documentation according to the lab- and prototype-scale activities, including material CoAs and MSDS documentation.
  • Maintaining laboratory equipment and generating data for patent applications.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in the battery industry, with skills and experience in laboratory work and handling of dangerous chemicals.
  • Observation skills and attention to detail, with a thorough and methodical approach to work.
  • The ability to document test results accurately and write reports, with good communication skills.
  • Preferably an education as a laboratory technician, with an open and curious personality.
