Restaurant Evening Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Evening Manager to join our team at the Michelberger Hotel & Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our dinner service, bar service, and evening events.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the night service from Monday to Sunday, ensuring exceptional customer service and a seamless dining experience.
- Optimize and control service standards, maintaining high levels of quality and consistency.
- Plan and coordinate duty rotas and holiday cover across departments, ensuring adequate staffing levels.
- Liaise closely with our Wine Consultant & Sommelier, Kitchen, Daytime Service Manager, Event Sales & Controlling teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, providing coaching, guidance, and support to ensure staff are equipped to deliver exceptional service.
- Conduct regular team meetings and maintain open communication channels to ensure everyone is informed and aligned.
- Manage reservations for the evening, ensuring accurate and efficient service.
- Proven experience in a managerial role, with a minimum of 2-3 years' experience in upscale gastronomy.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues, guests, and stakeholders.
- Fluency in German (minimum B2) and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
- Proficiency in IT programs, including duty scheduling systems, reservation programs, digital personnel files, and applicant management programs.
