Job Summary
The Logos Hope is a floating bookfair and education center that travels the world, sharing the love of God and promoting literacy and education. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary School Teacher to join our team on board the Logos Hope.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective learning opportunities for children on board the Logos Hope, working collaboratively with other teachers and staff.
- Develop and implement curriculum-aligned lesson plans, taking into account the diverse needs and abilities of our students.
- Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of education programs and initiatives on board the Logos Hope.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay up-to-date with best practices.
Requirements
- Current, official teaching qualification and experience working with children.
- Ability to teach mixed-age groups and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Flexibility to work with different classes and age groups, as needed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
- Commitment to teamwork, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
