About the Role:
Cyberx GMBH is seeking a highly skilled Senior Specialist Value Analysis Expert to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading Value Analysis and Value Engineering projects from ideation to implementation stage on our portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Product Management, Industrial Design, and Engineering teams in Germany with implementing 'Design to Cost' and 'Engineer to Cost' concepts on new stroller projects in development phase.
- Lead Value Analysis and Value Engineering projects with production and development teams in China from ideation to implementation stage on our portfolio.
- Drive parts/function and cost/function optimization.
- Develop modular portfolio for sharing parts across product lines with support from Engineering team.
- Explore new cost-effective technologies with procurement teams.
- Develop and maintain value analysis database on product portfolio.
Requirements:
- Must have a minimum degree in Engineering (industrial/mechanical/automotive).
- Additional education in Business administration preferred.
- Additional certifications related to VAVE is a plus.
- Proven experience in Value Analysis/Value Engineering and cost optimization.
- Strong managerial skills in creating and presenting Value Engineering projects.
- Previous experience in B2C consumer goods manufacturing sector desirable.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve objectives.
- Hands-on mentality with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Demonstrated level-headedness and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, particularly in English, with proficiency in German as a plus.
