Account Executive Financial Services EMEA

think-cell Software GmbH is seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Account Executive to drive revenue growth through sales activities for global Enterprise financial services customers headquartered in Europe. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and expanding a territory, owning the entire sales process from pipeline generation to closure, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and expand a territory with a focus on balancing new customer acquisition with nurturing existing accounts.
- Own the entire sales process from beginning to end, including prospecting, lead generation, qualification, value proposition presentation, solution demonstration, negotiation, and closing.
- Outreach to new teams at existing customers to explain the value proposition, demonstrate solutions, and convert prospects into loyal customers.
- Receive guidance and support from leadership but exercise independent thinking and initiative to achieve sales goals.
- Run account forensics to enable a data-driven sales approach that is customized to the individual customer.
- Help customers build and construct business plans that generate successful funding of enterprise license purchases.
- Execute strategic sales plays tailored to specific customer profiles.
- Follow up on leads and inbound requests in your territory and maximize conversion rate of trials.
- Localize and run marketing campaigns with support from our central team.
- Coordinate and enable post-deal product adoption supported by a central enablement team.
- Monitor customer health to detect and prevent churn.
- 3-5+ years of experience in a commercial role in a software or tech company, ideally in a startup or growth environment.
- Winning attitude with proven achievement of revenue targets of >$1mm for more than 3 years.
- Experience in navigating complex organizational structures and corporate dynamics of large global customers.
- Excellent virtual communication and presentation skills with the ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
- Self-starter with a can-do attitude and an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Appreciation of our product - willingness to understand think-cell's product and value is a must.
- Willingness to work on-site in Berlin, minimum of 3 days/week.
- Understanding of common GTM tools and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience working with financial services customers is a plus.
- Fluent in English and German is a must, while fluency in additional European languages is a plus.
