Position Overview:
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for spearheading the development and execution of digital procurement initiatives across various countries. This role involves close collaboration with the internal IT department to ensure seamless project management and effective knowledge transfer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute digital purchasing frameworks and projects on an international scale.
- Serve as a primary liaison for digitalization initiatives and the standardization of operational processes.
- Enhance procurement efficiency through the digital transformation of purchasing workflows.
- Oversee project streams and interdependencies, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders.
- Participate in procurement functions, including sourcing, tendering, pricing strategies, and supplier evaluation.
- Encourage knowledge sharing and maintain professional documentation within project teams.
- Assist in formulating and executing the strategy for article master data management.
- Foster collaboration among various departments and lead the development of efficient applications.
- Proactively define the vision for article master data and uphold data quality standards.
- Manage change initiatives and transformation projects effectively.
Qualifications:
- Degree in business or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in project and process management.
- Consulting background with strong capabilities in managing complex projects.
- Familiarity with procurement systems and a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end processes.
- Expertise in change management.
- Experience in master data management is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel within Europe and proficiency in both German and English.
