Your Profile

We seek a skilled, passionate, and detail-oriented Test and Reliability Engineer (m/f/d) to become a vital member of our Printhead development team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the durability and efficiency of our ultra high viscosity Printheads through comprehensive testing and evaluation.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Translating marketing specifications into reliability objectives for the printhead and its components.
  • Creating and implementing test plans and protocols to assess the reliability and performance of printheads.
  • Designing and setting up test fixtures and environments that replicate real-world operating conditions.
  • Conducting reliability assessments, including accelerated life testing, environmental testing, and stress testing.
  • Analyzing test results to pinpoint potential product failures and identify areas for enhancement.
  • Quantifying the lifespan of the printhead statistically and tailoring the test plan accordingly.
  • Collaborating with the design team to integrate reliability requirements into product design and development.
  • Maintaining comprehensive test documentation, including procedures, reports, and specifications.
  • Engaging in failure analysis and root cause investigations to address reliability challenges.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in reliability testing and engineering, ideally within a manufacturing or product development context.
