Job Overview

As a Deskside Technician I, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional IT support services. This position is based in Berlin, Germany, and requires proficiency in both German and English.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct IT assistance to users in a face-to-face setting.
  • Manage hardware setup, relocation, and removal.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to personal computing devices, including PCs, laptops, printers, and scanners.
  • Conduct testing for system and application modifications, and prepare scripts within the MS Windows 10 and MS Office 365 environments.
  • Oversee small-scale projects involving the installation of new hardware or software.
  • Install software, patches, and updates utilizing MS SCCM.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a technical ICT setting, ideally within a manufacturing organization.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of end-user technology.
  • Familiarity with end-user workspace platforms, including discovery, asset management, and client management.
  • Experience with end-user Microsoft platforms such as Active Directory, Office, and SCCM.
  • Experience with ITSM tools, particularly ticket management software, is preferred.
  • Strong soft skills including planning, organization, attention to detail, problem-solving, analytical thinking, flexibility, and customer sensitivity.
  • Fluency in both English and German, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
