System Engineer/IT Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled System Engineer/IT Support Specialist with expertise in Microsoft Windows systems, networking, and hardware support to join our team at Amaris Consulting.

Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows operating systems and associated hardware/software components.
  • Manage networking components, including switches, LAN, VPN, and cabling, ensuring reliable network connectivity.
  • Provide technical support for end-user devices on production lines and laboratory environments.
  • Oversee asset management and maintain accurate records using asset management tools.
  • Handle ticketing systems for efficient incident management and resolution of IT issues.
  • Support printing devices and manage integration with industry-specific applications.
  • Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure IT systems align with business and production needs.
Your Profile:
  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • You possess 7-10 years of experience in system engineering, IT support, or a similar role within the Pharma sector.
  • You have strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows, networking (LAN, VPN, cabling), and PC hardware.
  • You have hands-on experience with asset management and ticketing tools in a fast-paced environment.
  • You demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot IT issues in a production setting.
  • You have a solid understanding of supply chain management and its impact on IT infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of Pharma industry applications and processes is a significant advantage.
