The Senior HR Business Partner – Site Leader will be pivotal in ensuring uniformity in all personnel-related matters and human resources practices at the site. This role involves implementing and managing change initiatives that bolster organizational effectiveness. The individual will coordinate and deliver management training and educational programs, provide guidance in performance management and salary planning, and serve as an integral member of the Site Leadership team, working closely with the local works council. Additionally, this position will act as the subject matter expert in German labor and payroll law, facilitating efficiency and compliance within the centers of excellence (CoE). Collaboration with talent acquisition will be essential to cultivate a strong employer brand and attract top-tier talent.
The site comprises approximately 120 employees across Operations, R&D, Marketing, and Sales functions. The Senior HRBP will be the sole HR representative at the site, closely collaborating with the global CoE network to ensure effective HR support. This role is expected to be onsite regularly, with the possibility of occasional remote work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer comprehensive HR support to the site and leadership team, focusing on areas such as coaching, facilitation, employee development, performance management, and succession planning.
- Collaborate with managers to identify staffing needs and develop human resources strategies.
- Independently manage high-level HR projects and address complex issues.
- Provide coaching to managers and supervisors on performance-related matters and disciplinary actions.
- Handle employee relations issues and investigations, offering guidance to team members.
- Design and deliver training programs in essential HR areas, including anti-harassment, interview techniques, and supervisory skills.
- Regularly engage with the local works council in partnership with the site head.
- Assist with various administrative tasks.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources or Business Administration.
- Extensive knowledge of German labor law and experience working with works councils.
- Experience in payroll processes and service centers.
- Fluency in both German and English.
- Experience in a multinational, matrixed organization is advantageous.
