Welcome to Amazon External Fulfillment Germany GmbH. We are currently looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing operational processes and workflows for Amazon customer orders in the warehouse. Your tasks will include coordinating with logistics service providers, monitoring key warehouse metrics, and assisting in personnel planning and process improvement. Effective communication with various stakeholders is essential in this role. Travel to other Vendor-Flex sites may be required occasionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and improve processes in the Vendor-Flex area to ensure efficient order fulfillment.
- Manage the service relationship with logistics service providers, focusing on warehouse operations such as receiving, storing, picking, packing, shipping, and transportation.
- Engage with representatives from logistics service providers, procurement, and transportation companies to ensure seamless operations.
- Monitor key performance indicators to align with business goals and optimize warehouse efficiency.
- Provide consulting services for process improvement and production efficiency to drive business growth.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in logistics processes and operations.
- Basic knowledge of personnel management and team leadership.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, to analyze and communicate data.
- Good English skills for effective communication and collaboration.
- Ability to analyze and communicate data to drive business decisions.
- Valid driver's license to facilitate travel to other sites.
- Advanced German language skills to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with empathy and assertiveness.
- Social competence and teamwork to drive business success.
