About the Position

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Associate to join our team at the Universität Konstanz. The successful candidate will have a strong background in neurobiology and behavior of insects, with a focus on olfactory processing and social behavior.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and conduct independent research projects, preferably in the area of olfactory coding and social behavior.
  • Collaborate with our international team on research projects within and outside the department.
  • Contribute to teaching in Zoology and Neuroscience at various proficiency levels.
Requirements
  • Ph.D. in a relevant field, such as neurobiology or behavior of insects.
  • Strong background in insect olfaction and olfactory coding, learning and memory, computational neuroscience, collective behavior, or odour communication in social insects.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and influence skills.
