Aerospace Test Engineer (m/f/d) - Wind Tunnel and Propulsion

About the Job:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Test Engineer to join our team in Munich. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for reviewing test requests, refining test concepts, and coordinating with design teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and refine test requests with the design team
  • Focus on wind tunnel testing and support other propulsion test campaigns
  • Prepare test concepts and detailed designs of test and measurement setups
  • Coordinate technicians, suppliers, and other support teams
  • Plan test execution, including test procedures and risk assessments
  • Postprocess data and report results
  • Create and review engineering documentation for test setups and results
Requirements:
  • Completed studies in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, or comparable
  • Good knowledge and experience in propulsion testing and wind tunnel testing
  • Experience in measurement methods and instrumentation
  • Good knowledge in data analysis and postprocessing
  • Experience in processes, methods, and best practices of testing within the aerospace industry
  • Good knowledge of a CAD system (Siemens NX preferred)
  • Fluent English language skills are essential, fluent German or any other language is beneficial
  • Ability and willingness to travel to external facilities (in Germany, Switzerland & Netherlands)
