Position SummaryAre you passionate about capital markets? Do you possess knowledge of stocks, futures, options, and indices, including their creation and maintenance? Key Responsibilities- Conducting reviews of free float for various securities, which includes:
- Gathering information on the shareholding structure for the Solactive universe of companies from stock exchanges, corporate websites, and annual reports.
- Analyzing shareholder types and calculating the free float factor in accordance with Solactive's internal guidelines.
- Assessing foreign ownership restrictions relevant to specific companies, sectors, or countries.
- Evaluating the number of shares outstanding for companies within the Solactive universe.
- Monitoring corporate events and analyzing their effects on the free float of securities.
- Maintaining existing data feeds and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to enhance them.
- Performing quality assessments of data in line with product and index review schedules.
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- A strong interest in capital markets.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, complemented by good logical reasoning.
- Able to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
