Microsoft 365 Systems Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated IT Systems Engineer specializing in MS365 and Exchange to enhance our Collaboration Services team.

Role Overview:

As an IT Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the support, development, and maintenance of our infrastructure, focusing on both Microsoft 365 and on-premises systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, maintain, and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 and on-premises Active Directory, Exchange, and associated services.
  • Work closely with the security team to identify and address vulnerabilities and risks.
  • Automate processes and reporting primarily through PowerShell scripting.
  • Implement system updates, patches, and upgrades as necessary.
  • Manage service request tickets efficiently.
  • Collaborate with local IT, HR, Legal, and Security teams across various subsidiaries.
  • Assist in projects related to service integration.
  • Prepare comprehensive documentation in English covering system setups, configurations, and policies.
  • Ensure compliance with security guidelines and EU GDPR regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Microsoft Exchange Server Administration.
  • Proficient in MS Exchange versions 2010, 2016, and 2019, including DAG, Array, and Hybrid configurations.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Microsoft Office 365 Administration.
  • Strong knowledge of M365 services, Active Directory, and identity management systems.
  • Experience with PKI infrastructure, DNS, and anti-spam systems.
  • Demonstrated responsibility for systems and services.
  • Ability to think analytically and work independently.
  • Excellent documentation skills and proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Preferred: Advanced PowerShell scripting, Linux administration, and MS SQL knowledge.
