Microsoft 365 Systems Engineer

We are seeking a skilled IT Systems Engineer for MS365/Exchange to enhance our Collaboration Services team.

Role Overview:

As an IT Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the management and support of our infrastructure, focusing on both Microsoft 365 and on-premises system operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, maintain, and troubleshoot M365 and on-premises Active Directory, Exchange, and associated services.
  • Collaborate with the security team to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities and risks.
  • Automate processes and reporting primarily through PowerShell scripting.
  • Manage system patching, updates, and upgrades.
  • Address service request tickets efficiently.
  • Coordinate with local IT, HR, Legal, and Security teams across subsidiaries.
  • Support integration projects related to service delivery.
  • Prepare comprehensive documentation in English covering system configurations, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with security guidelines and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Over 7 years of experience in Microsoft Exchange Server Administration.
  • Proficient in MS Exchange versions 2010, 2016, and 2019, including DAG, Array, and Hybrid configurations.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Microsoft Office 365 Administration.
  • Strong knowledge of M365 services, including AzureAD, AADC, Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint Online.
  • Experience with Active Directory management, including GPO, LDAP, and multi-domain environments.
  • Familiarity with PKI infrastructure, DNS management, and anti-spam systems.
  • Demonstrated responsibility for systems and services.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent documentation skills and proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Desirable skills include advanced PowerShell scripting, experience with Symantec Enterprise Vault, Linux administration, and MS SQL.
