We are seeking a

Lead Electrical Engineer (m|w|d) for Medium-Voltage Power Converters

Your Responsibilities

  • In the context of global hydropower projects, you will oversee the execution of electrical systems.
  • You will develop converter solutions and enhance them in collaboration with the generator engineering division.
  • Your primary responsibilities will include managing start-up and direct converters, as well as DFIM excitation systems for power generation projects, which encompasses the engineering of auxiliary systems.
  • You will also be tasked with verifying, clarifying interfaces, and integrating the detailed and component engineering from system suppliers and planning offices into the overall project planning.
  • Your role will involve monitoring budgetary constraints and timelines while assisting Purchasing in system specifications and Sales in preparing proposals and negotiations with clients.
  • You will participate in factory acceptance tests at suppliers, customer meetings, and on-site consultations globally.

Your Qualifications

  • You possess a degree in electrical or power engineering.
  • You have specialized knowledge in high-power and voltage inverter technology.
  • Experience with complex technical systems and installations is preferred.
  • You are proficient in both written and spoken German and English; additional language skills are a plus.
  • You are eager to engage in intercultural collaboration within an internationally focused organization.
