Job Title: Head of Global Controlling

At msg global solutions, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Global Controlling department. As the Head of Global Controlling, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial planning and analysis operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial guidance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and further develop the Global Controlling department
  • Oversee the planning process of the msg global Group with regard to budgets and forecasts as well as medium-term planning
  • Organize and carry out reporting to the Management Board and management departments
  • Prepare ad hoc reports and analyses
  • Act as a business partner for Business Units of the msg global group of companies
  • Manage and customize the controlling systems, in particular SAP SAC and LucaNet
  • Project work as part of the further development of the controlling department and reporting systems, including the introduction of a planning tool
  • Support for M&A projects in Germany and abroad, including due diligence processes
Requirements:
  • University degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Extensive experience in a senior leadership role within Finance/Controlling
  • Expert knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, financial reporting standards, balance sheet and P&L planning
  • Current business knowledge with a high growth mindset
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail ability to think strategically and execute tactically
  • Ability to work in a complex, diverse environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis
  • Very good knowledge of SAP FI/CO/SAC
  • Fluent in English and German, further languages are a plus
