Strategic Marketing Director

We're seeking a seasoned Strategic Marketing Director to join our team at Project A Ventures and drive growth across our portfolio companies and external partners. As a key member of our Marketing Department, you'll oversee all marketing activities, develop and implement strategic marketing initiatives, and ensure alignment with our overall business goals.
Our Marketing team is a group of curious, data-driven experts who help our portfolio companies grow their user base. We cover all areas of programmatic paid media, customer engagement tactics, demand generation, marketing automation & MarTech, and Marketing Ops.

Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies across our portfolio and external partners to drive brand growth, customer acquisition, and retention
- Identify and capitalise on emerging marketing trends and technologies, including AI, to ensure we stay ahead of the curve
- Provide expert marketing consultation to our portfolio companies, tailoring strategies to their unique business needs and market environments
- Facilitate workshops, trainings, and ongoing support to ensure effective implementation of marketing initiatives
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence
- Utilise analytics and data-driven insights to optimise strategies and drive continuous improvement
- Prepare and present regular reports to the executive team, highlighting successes and areas for growth
- Minimum of 10 years of marketing experience with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
- Proven experience in consulting and advising on marketing strategies for multiple businesses or clients
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, brand development, and performance marketing
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to think strategically and creatively, with a data-driven approach to decision making
- Demonstrated success in managing budgets, marketing operations, and driving growth
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Feeling comfortable getting your hands dirty to get things done
- Business fluent in German and English
