About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead the eProcurement implementation project across all RWE Operating Companies. As a key member of our Central Procurement Transformation and Procurement Excellence team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful rollout of the eProcurement suite implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the implementation of the eProcurement suite across all RWE Operating Companies, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Oversee the progress of different functional and technical workstreams, ensuring timely delivery and effective communication.
- Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders and external parties, including the eProcurement provider and technical implementation partner.
- Develop and maintain project plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and key performance indicators.
- Coordinate and prepare project documentation, including meeting minutes and regular reporting to the Steering Committee and Sounding Board.
- Lead and motivate project team members, ensuring a high level of collaboration and teamwork.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in industrial engineering, management, economics, business informatics, or a comparable field.
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in large-scale digitization projects, with certified project management skills.
- Experience with eProcurement solutions and large-scale IT implementation projects.
- Strong professional work experience in purchasing topics and complex procurement processes and systems.
- Excellent consulting and presenting skills, with the ability to explain complex project details in a straightforward way.
- Highly independent, systematic, quality- and goal-oriented approach to work, with broad methodological skills.
- Ability to inspire, motivate, and coach project team members and stakeholders.
- Experience in building and maintaining stakeholder relationships, with high team-orientation and social competence.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to support project delivery.
