Clinical Customer Development Specialist at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive PCT utilization in healthcare settings, enhancing patient outcomes and health economics.
  • Grow clinical demand for PCT through engagement, education, and training of clinical and laboratory customers.
  • Foster relationships with IVD laboratory equipment providers to expand our reach and impact.
A Day in the Life:
  • Identify and develop healthcare settings within your region, leveraging your expertise to drive growth and success.
  • Establish strong relationships with key customers in Laboratory Leadership and Clinical Leads, providing exceptional support and guidance.
  • Collaborate with License Partners to coordinate activities and drive results.
  • Obtain agreement from hospital stakeholders to broaden test utilization, ensuring seamless integration and adoption.
  • Design and deliver education programs and presentations to engage and inform customers.
  • Work closely with internal teams to provide clinical insights for message development, ensuring our messaging is accurate and effective.
  • Represent the company at various events and meetings, showcasing our expertise and building relationships.
  • Be accountable for achieving growth targets and performance metrics, driving business success and excellence.
  • Maintain accurate business data in SFDC, ensuring seamless tracking and analysis.
Requirements for Success:
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare/Medical Sciences, Biochemistry, or related field; PhD preferred.
  • 3+ years of Healthcare experience, with a proven track record of success.
  • Experience in diagnostic lab settings or customer development, with a strong background in Health Economics.
  • Proven ability to build positive relationships, with a strong focus on customer engagement and satisfaction.
  • Proficiency in customer segmentation and account mapping, with a keen eye for detail and analysis.
  • Competency in engaging decision makers from various healthcare settings, with a strong ability to communicate complex ideas.
  • Experience in training and development assessment, with a focus on continuous learning and improvement.
  • Proficiency in SFDC CRM, Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook, with a strong ability to adapt to new tools and technologies.
  • Willingness to travel frequently, with a strong ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
