As a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of non-raw materials and other necessary supplies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the procurement process from sourcing and negotiating contracts to delivery and payment
- Identify and develop relationships with new suppliers
- Lead negotiations to secure favorable terms and pricing
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement procurement strategies
- Oversee inventory management and ensure adequate stock levels
- Analyze market trends and industry developments to identify opportunities for cost savings
- Lead a team of procurement specialists, providing guidance and support as needed
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- 7-10 years of experience in procurement, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Proven track record of successfully managing raw materials purchases and supply chain operations
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Proficiency in both English and German (speaking and writing)
