Head Grower Job Description

Tilray Brands is a leading global cannabis-lifestyle and consumer packaged goods company with operations in Canada, the United States, Europe, Australia, and Latin America. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Grower to join our team.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive crop production program to ensure successful harvests and high-quality products.
  • Collaborate with the Production Manager to maintain and improve growing practices, reducing costs and enhancing plant health, yield, and patient satisfaction.
  • Coordinate production schedules, communicate changes, and ensure all team members are trained and follow standard operating procedures.
  • Monitor and document plant development, communicate with the Production Manager/Master Horticulturist, and address any concerns that arise.
  • Provide leadership for problem-solving and conflict resolution, maintaining a safe, clean, and compliant workplace.
  • Keep the Best Practice Document accurate and up-to-date.
  • Perform other tasks as required by the Production Manager.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • Must have a degree (diploma or higher) in Horticulture.
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of work experience in large-scale crop production.
  • Good organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision.
