IT Solution Architect for Supply Chain Operations (m/f/x)
Key Responsibilities:
We are in search of an IT Solution Architect to serve as an internal consultant and service manager within our IT department. This role is pivotal in supporting the effective operation of IT services related to supply chain operations, as well as enhancing and advancing processes, services, and interfaces at our production site. The primary focus areas include internal logistics within warehousing, shipping, and production, along with technology and maintenance.
After comprehensive training, the responsibilities will encompass:
- Assisting business process owners and key users in supply chain operations with requirement analysis, optimization development, and solution concept creation for implementation.
- Deploying new services in the specified areas.
- Modifying existing services and coordinating with external service providers.
- Managing medium to large-scale projects.
- Aiding specialist departments in test preparation and execution.
- Overseeing 2nd level support (incident and problem management) and managing service requests, including organization and monitoring of these services by external providers.
- Monitoring processes and interfaces.
- Participating in the evaluation, execution, and implementation of change control processes.
- Preparing necessary documentation in a regulated environment (GxP).
Qualifications & Experience:
- A degree in business informatics or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in service architecture and management.
- Proficiency in both German and English is essential.
- Strong understanding of ITIL principles.
- Experience in the implementation and management of IT services, ideally with external service providers.
- A solid grasp of supply chain operations processes and familiarity with corresponding procedures in a regulated environment (GxP).
- Preferably, knowledge of SAP Logistics or Manufacturing.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
- An independent and results-driven approach to work.
- Strong analytical and structured thinking abilities.
