Job Summary

We are seeking an IT Solution Architect to support the productive operation of IT services in the area of supply chain operations and optimize processes, services, and interfaces at our production site in Pfaffenhofen/Ilm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support business process owners and key users in supply chain operations in analyzing requirements, developing optimization options, and creating solution concepts for implementation.
  • Implement new services in internal plant logistics, warehousing, shipping, and production, as well as technology and maintenance.
  • Carry out adjustments to existing services and coordinate external service providers.
  • Take over project management for medium and larger projects.
  • Support specialist departments in test preparation and test execution.
  • Responsibility for 2nd level support (incident and problem management) and support of service request management or organization and monitoring of these services by external service providers.
  • Responsibility for monitoring processes and interfaces.
  • Participate in the evaluation, execution, and implementation of change control processes.
  • Prepare necessary documentation in a regulated environment (GxP).

Requirements

  • Completed studies in business informatics or comparable.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in the field of service architecture and service management.
  • Excellent German and English language skills.
  • Good knowledge of ITIL.
  • Experience in the implementation and operation of IT services and ideally the management of external service providers.
  • Very good understanding of relevant processes in the area of supply chain operations and experience with corresponding processes and procedures in a regulated environment (GxP).
  • Ideal knowledge of SAP Logistics or Manufacturing.
  • Strong communication skills and team spirit.
  • Independent and results-oriented way of working.
  • Analytical and structured thinking.
