Head of Radiology Informatics Services for Central Europe

Position Overview
The role of Director of Radiology Informatics Services Delivery for Central Europe encompasses significant responsibilities in overseeing and enhancing the delivery of Radiology Informatics (RI) solutions across the Central European region, including Austria, Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg, Netherlands, and Switzerland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the RI Delivery units in Central Europe, managing a substantial revenue stream exceeding 20 million EUR annually and a workforce of over 40 professionals.
- Formulate and execute the RI Implementation strategy for the region, ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives and collaborating closely with the European Leadership team.
- Supervise diverse teams comprising Project Managers, Technical Consultants, and Clinical Process Consultants, ensuring compliance with standardized delivery protocols and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
- Oversee the Implementation Delivery processes for Radiology Informatics, ensuring that solutions are delivered within the agreed scope, quality standards, budget, and timelines.
- Develop strategic plans that align with business margin expectations, focusing on minimizing physical interventions, automating entitlement management, and maintaining a clean install base with digital updates.
- Drive cost performance and optimization by managing key performance indicators such as resource utilization, role-based rates, and project costing.
- Manage critical projects and high-stakes accounts, balancing risk management with issue escalation and providing detailed progress reports with suggested corrective actions.
- Propose enhancements to processes and procedures, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Establish a robust and competitive RI Implementation delivery unit in Central Europe, focusing on sustainable growth and profitability.
- Oversee workforce and resource management to build a high-performing delivery team with the necessary skills and capacity.
Team Dynamics:
You will be part of the Enterprise Informatics RI S&SD Implementation organization, reporting directly to the EI RI S&SD Implementation Leader for Europe and China. You will collaborate with a motivated team dedicated to enhancing the performance of EI RI SS&D Implementation across Europe and China.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in the healthcare sector within the DACH region, including P&L responsibilities.
- A degree in software engineering, business engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrated expertise in IT professional services, both software and hardware.
- Experience in a managerial role, preferably across multiple countries or markets.
- Proven success in transforming delivery processes and teams.
- Relevant experience in improvement initiatives for software delivery projects, ensuring adherence to time, budget, and quality standards.
- Strong understanding of the "people business," including management of key skills in project, solutions, and services sectors, along with a commitment to continuous professional development.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluency in German and English; additional languages are advantageous.
- Willingness to travel as required.
